JOB OPENINGS

We currently have the following openings at Cognix Inc. for our Chennai center:

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ServiceNow® solution design
  • Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into  a sustainable ServiceNow® implementation
  • Work with Program Resources to define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition
  • Provide insight and expertise into the ServiceNow® platform capabilities and vendor product roadmap

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years of ServiceNow® implementation experience in large complex environments
  • Minimum of 5+ years of technology implementations
  • Firm understanding of ServiceNow® applications and modules
  • Information Technology experience required, including development, implementation, and maintenance of large scale systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines
  • Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
  • Strong technical project management and / or leadership skills
  • Certified ServiceNow® System Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with clients that have varying expertise and exposure to Service Now and ITIL concepts in order to solve complex problems
  • Translate requirements into functional service designs and create service models along with supporting documentation (activity and sequence diagrams)
  • Ensure service designs adhere to standards, principles and governance processes
  • Perform peer reviews of designs and solution proposals to ensure conformance to current practice and quality of work being generated
  • Import and manage data between ServiceNow® instances and other various system sources
  • Review ServiceNow® version releases and then lead the upgrade project with regression and user acceptance testing
  • Create and maintain documentation of system configurations

Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Preferred ServiceNow® Administrator certification
  • General experience with IT Service Management processes
  • Experience in ServiceNow® ITSM modules i.e. Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management and Knowledge Management
  • 4+ years of JavaScript / HTML experience and 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow® customization and configuration in an enterprise environment
  • ITIL Foundation certified
  • ServiceNow® System Administrator certified
  • ServiceNow® Implementation Specialist certified
  • Experience with JavaScript and HTML
